If you are going to put a box and hoist on the truck, you want to dump the air whenever you raise the box. IH's are very unstable when you get a 20' box up in the air. I've seen one leaned over touching a wall in an old wooden elevator, when the driver forgot to dump the air. Good thing the wall was close, it would have flattened someone if it went the other way.
