Ours has the spring shanks with the taller springs. I've been told on the older models that had the shorter spring don't have enough tension to hold the Andersons in place when you hit harder ground.

I know the Dutch openers are stronger than the Stealth. I know there are some stealths in our area and I've got limited experience with them. I've never been around the Dutch's. I don't think right in our area we would have too many problems with big rocks. Start going west a bit and it's a different story.

Our drill has c shanks, so knowing that Anderson doesn't make them anymore isn't good in case I need replacements.
