Subject: RE: Anderson Openers vs. Stealth or Dutch

SW North Dakota
I just sold some andersons last week as we changed over to stealth this winter. We ran the andersons for 7 years. I havent had any experience with the stealth openers yet but they look like a good boot. They have alot less parts than the andersons. There are a total of 7 pieces that make up the anderson openers and only 3 for the stealth. It gets to be a headache to change all the plastic parts on the anderson. And they wear out fairly quick. Our fields were super rough with the andersons. Also depends if you have c-shanks or edge on because they no longer make c-shank andersons so you will not be able to buy replacements. In my opinion you should go with either the stealth or dutch unless the andersons are free. Not sure how they pull compared to but we'll find out this spring. Good luck!
