Yes, Anderson openers pull a heck of a lot harder than sweeps. I used to have Anderson openers on my 40' Concord. I bet I dropped the power requirement at least 20-25% by switching to the low-disturbance sweeps. I think the Anderson openers are a good opener, I just got sick of listening to my tractor beg for mercy trying to pull them along. I've got a set of Dutch openers with the rear anhydrous knife that also pulled pretty hard as well. I've heard the Stealth opener is a good opener, I can't really comment because I haven't seen a field seeded by them to see how they did.
