Thanks for all 3 replies. The water is pumped out of the pits and we'll check everything mentioned. I guess it would seem obvious but I have no idea what to look for as far as the belt goes. Tears I can surely see (haven't seen any yet) and assume can be fixed with a splice. When is a belt so far gone that it won't hold up much longer at all? If really well worn can it hold up for a pretty good while if it's not fed heavily? Lots of unknowns for us here. Also we can surely put some oil on the distributor head and make sure it turns and locks. Holes in downspouts and distributor should also be able to be seen I'm figuring. Otherwise we'll find those when grain starts raining out. :-) Thanks again.
