southern il. | we are in pulaski county il and we have 2 wells we us to pump water on about 25 acres for ducks, not a commercial operation just my way of keeping sane. I enjoy watching them as much as hunting and we are starting to get a lot coming in now. 1 well is a 10 inch pto powered and generally we use about 300 gal diesel to pump it full. the other one is 8 inch electric and takes about 400 bucks of electricty to pump it up. Ducks are expensive per pound but i sure have a good time. | |
