Now remember most 3D printed plastics will melt/sag in parked a car in a hot summer day. If this plate is overhead with switches mounted on it then gravity will win and it will sag.
Possibly carbon fiber ABS might hold up but only comes in black. Nylon has a high melting point but warps bad when printing. There is a new high temp filament called FireWire coming out. It's a bit pricey and the $200 printers can't print it. It only comes in translucent and looks like it likes to warp when it has an aneeling process defined.

Also remember the face will have some texturing from the nozzle width. Here is an example of the surface texture with lettering. I printed this for my sisters wedding in June.
