Another thing that helps a lot is to add something to the cover under the seat. I used an insulated floor mat type material. 1/2" or so thick foam with a rubber top. Riveted it to the top of the cover and seat just sits on top of it. Bonus is it adds just a tiny bit more cushion, cuts the noise, and really stops the heat in summer. Bought it in bulk roll from an aftermarket ag interior supplier.
