SW Sask | Hello esteemed contributors to NAT.
Pa has a 1975 Deutz 100-06 that has suffered an unfortunate failure of the left-front steering spindle assembly. While the ol' girl is no longer holding up any actual field work, its a tractor worth fixing...if....
Things I have learned thus far on my search:
- there aren't many of these beasts around any more
- apparently there was a 'heavy' and a 'light' duty axle. As we discovered at the only local wrecker with a few Deutz's on the heap, dad's has the light axle, and none of the components are interchangeable (unless we maybe swap the whole axle)....
My request - does anyone have suggestions for wreckers that may have a part? Ideally in western Canada, but at this point, anything is worth considering...
