How we handle this : Charge the customer the core charge. When the core oi returned, complete and in the original box, if shipped that way, then they get the core charge credited back. If the wants to keep the actuator, where is the one from the turbo that you sent him?
Yes, I handle the core charge/credit the same way. The problem is that the turbo was not available as a reman without the actuator and they do not want to send a nearly new actuator back with the core. I am just trying to help him get at least some of his core credit back, which would be the core charge less the cost of a bad/junk actuator and some shipping.
My supplier says the core is of no value without the actuator. |
