Check drain pipe as well, they aren't very heavy wall, but I had some odd pipe I used to bury float shutoff valves, PVC fitting weren't close but some ABS drain pipe fit.
I have some with steel pipe in the ground I ended up slipping a PVC fitting over and just put a couple self taping screws into it to hold it on.
5" PVC cap and collar.
