It made a Crop
Twin row corn Does Not feed the same as being off the row 3-4" in single row. The stalks lean into each other as they feed.

No expert here. But, that's my observation on harvesting 25-30 acres of twins rows over the last 3 years.

Here's a link to a Post I made November of '07. It's got a few pictures I took from my Phone's Camera while harvesting some twins. They had been hit by a 70 mph wind a couple weeks before the pictures.
