ML makes money by leasing the same combine for more than one crop season putting lots of hours on per year, this is a major advantage to their company compared to a lease from a local dealer.
The heads for the most part are only used for one season, thus there is no real reason for ML to have heads sitting around when they have no clear advantage over the local Deere or Case dealership.
Anyone deal with machinerylink.com or like them?
