I prefer the lugs. Years ago we had diamond treads on an air cart (tow behind) and we noticed our crop had very poor emmergence in wet areas. Our next cart had rice tires and we have had much better emmergence in similar conditions. We feel the compaction under the actual lug is greater than diamond types, but between the lugs is very little ......Bill
