SW Ohio | Here is what we had to do to the hardest one i ever did without breaking anything.
Apply PB blaster several times the day before.
Loosen ALL bolts.
The pics show a bearing race that fits against wedges very well and fits inside of wheel, pipe was just a little too big. Cut a slot in pipe for 1/2 by three bar stock(it still bent!!), that let us pull with binders and stil hit the end of the pipe, yes a BFH is better than a wimpy 8 pounder ( I once built a swinging hammer out of a two hundred pound I beam suspended from log chains ). Those screw binders are great for applying lots of force.
Last but not least clean everything up real well and liberally apply never seize to all surfaces when you put it back together. I don't know why they can't use more of that stuff at the factory. Before someone jumps me about it---it called never "seize" NOT never "stay tight"
