| Dad had a lot of trouble hitting the wagon the last couple of years he ran the combine. I bolted a chain to the INSIDE of the rubber discharge chute on the combine auger. INSIDE keeps it out of the grain stream. The chain is a length that just taps the wagon box as it crosses, but high enough it clears tractor cabs. Chain inside the box equals grain inside the box. Later I replaced the first chain with a white plastic chain: better visibility and less damage to an auger if it ever breaks off. | |
