None of it seems cheap. I got some nylon jacket style from local place that makes hydraulic hoses. Expensive per ft I thought but seems to be holding up and protection from abrasion. Be sure to heat/melt the ends to keep from fraying just used nylon zip ties to secure to ends of hose at the steel fittings. Not velcro closures just sleeves that you secure at the ends. These turned up in web search. http://www.rocklinhydraulics.com/hoseprotection.html http://www.discounthydraulichose.com/product_p/nps.htm These look like the crimp on clamps (down the page) http://www.mobilehydraulictips.com/safety-in-sight/ Actual protection from bursting hoses is Gates Life Guard Sleeving. http://www.gates.com/products/industrial/industrial-hydraulics/accessories/lifeguard-sleeving |
