My first question would have been..... WHY?
Why are you going to all this work?
Second, while you are going to all this effort to calibrate ear corn to shell corn, are you also measuring test weight and taking THAT into consideration. If not, why not? Since you are "addicted to number-crunching", wouldn't you want to know that bit of info as well??
