We use the harrow almost all of the time. It doesn't look like it does much but it does move a little residue and soil, but mostly it helps pin down the reside to the soil. For wheat it isn't as important as when we used to drill beans in corn stalks. It lays all the stalks down and helps with harvest. We run it very flat. As long as you run duals the hitch is ok. There has been a couple of times I've had to do a little field with a tractor without duals and it pushes you around back there. We run 6 suitcase weights. It really helps when drill is getting close to empty.
