TN Rick,  we had been all Group IV for several years for the same reason, more consistency, until this year. We had less cotton acres and planted more beans, so we planted a few V's. Mostly behind wheat and later. I still like the IV's better, but looks like our corn and cotton acres may be cut again. So we will plant some more V's to spread the maturity out. I'm planning on trying some 4903's myself next year.

That 5068 that I mentioned, I'm not sure, but I think that was a Delta King variety that got swallowed up by Asgrow/Monsanto when DK went under. It was a good bean for us and I plan to plant it again.  My worst bean was AG 5301, although it was planted on a tough farm that was drier than most this year.
