Coldwater, Michigan | KTS, Potassium Thiosulfate, K-Thio, all the same product. They mix much better than does the 0-0-30. You don't have to worry about blowing up tanks and such.
The real issue here is when blending with UAN 28%, 32%, etc is the saturation point of the UAN. As you know, we already cut 28% for the winter to keep it in suspension. It doesn't get any better when trying to add K-Thio to it. If you cut the 0-0-25-17 with a gallon of water to 3-4 gallons of 0-0-25-17, it will then mix with 28% fairly readily at a gallon KTS to 5 of 28%.
If you are going to mix it with 10-34-0, there is no issue really. If going to mix all three, mix with the 10-34-0 first then the 28%, issue pretty well goes away. Mixing with 28% is a bit like mixing sugar into your iced tea. A little mixes alright, a little bit more, you have sugar on the bottom of your glass. Same amount of sugar in Warm or hot tea, you never see it on the bottom. Warm 28% mixes much easier than does cold 28%. The water helps!
