Subject: Now what did I do?????

West Texas

Grin.

We are currently busy plowing each and every on of our peanut fields, plowing them 12-14" deep with moldboard plows.  (switch plows actually)

Going to plow some cotton fields that haven't been plowed in maybe 10 years. Yields are dragging on those fields and all studies and tests we've done point to the soil needing a good plowing!!!

Some of these fields are a different type of dirt then just regular sand, yet they are a sandy soil.

Peanut ground gets plowed to get rid of diseases and volunteer peanuts which are very hard to kill next summer.

Baker plow

Bill, you are referring to these Baker plows. Haven't used them since 2003.  When we do use them, we run them 24-26" deep or deeper if we can pull it.
