I know what you mean with the wildlife(deer). I don't want to plant any beans but the economics of planting corn are'nt looking to good to me here. I'm hanging on to this year's corn right now watching the price go down everyday just like I did from $7.00 to where we're at right now. Much less monetary risk with beans but I hate to grow them.
Best Bean for the South?
