Southeast Florida | I kind of partial to the 9380 C-IH. The only problem with them is they don't weigh enough and must have ballast added to them. They're very simple to work on too. The Deere and Versatile both have the 1400 series Twin Disc transmission and the C-IH has a Fuji-Tek, copy of the 1400 TD. Versatile have the same problem with having enough weight to get the power to the ground. Axles are weaker on the Versy too. I ran a blue 1156 last week for a friend short on tractor drivers and it was under weight big time, it would bury it's self in 7th gear with dual 30.5X32 R2's. The smoke screw has been turned to 600 HP also didn't help the power to weight ratio but when pulling pans it's a beast just no p/s tranny. He has a 976 also and it under weight too.
