Northern Indiana | Talking to a buddy in the scrap business at a sale on Tuesday. He was buying at 35-40 a ton for unprepared. Seems the mills are not buying right now due to the slow economy. Most scrap dealers are just waiting it out.
I would like to believe that you could find a donor combine pretty cheep and fix yours up for less than new parts price and still have salvage left from the donor.
