NW Washington | Ah, yes, Plowman's Folly. What I love are the guys out west in Oregon, Washington and Idaho that literally plow bare soil, and do it at least a foot deep. Big tractor, little plow and black smoke. Next pass is with a disc and a great big roller. Dig it up, then turn around and pack it down.
But it is free country and you have to pay your own diesel bill, so have fun.
