| Have to look at the nutrient source and rates.
Jake, with his high use of litter or other form of nutrients is always going to have P and K for the bean crop after corn. He has to pump up the usage to get the N he wants so he is over on P and K.
We have decided to go with a 2 year rotation on litter here. Mostly due to the time of application we want to put on two years worth at a time. As the N is of no use to the soybeans and needed for the corn it looks like we will like it.
Let you know after a couple of years how it works out.
