I did the same thing with Dad's old New Idea pull type picker in 02, it sure brings back the memories.
Mom needed the ear corn for her cows so we grew her a field of corn and picked it. Poor year to try it, rained about 2 inches down there all summer.
Planted 4 hybrids and they went from black dead 50 bu to 140 on the best hybrid...
I would want $3 a bushel for ear corn right here right now...
