NE CO - farm NW KS

I worked in Hiawatha for SCS for a couple years, and staked alot of terraces. I agree with Brandon that the field in the pictures doesn't hold a candle to some of the 20-30 slopes in Doniphan or northern Atchison County. In such steep areas, there are many grass-backslope terraces with tile outlets. Doesn't bother the locals a bit.

Since I had been raised on a farm in NW KS, and had previously worked in the Dighton area, it was quite an experience. Very productive land (corn/soybean mostly) and I enjoyed it greatly.
