But I always ask about the fertilizer demands of beans. Sure, no N is needed. That is understood. However, a bushel of beans removes a lot of nutrients from the farm, just like corn does. So, how long can you keep growing beans & not replenishing while waiting for fertilizer prices? Can you grow beans 2-3-4 yrs in a row? I know we can't.
