nw pa | Had a few fields with lots of pokeweed. Found that usually the pokeweed was to small the first spray and when you get back they can be three foot tall. Then when you are trying to clean up the rest of the field the boom needs to be lower than the tops of the pokeweed.. Pokeweed can be killed off but you have to spray over the top to do it. We also take the hand sprayer out for a walk on evenings and give them a heavy dose. Cleaned up thirty acres last year. Generally speaking a quart of glyphos with ams will knock them out. May take a couple of years but they will die. When all else fails go back when they are four or five feet and spray over the top it will get them. | |
