Subject: Got a few good combining days..

Eastern Ontario
Started on Sunday and had to stop Wednesday because of rain. Gor a good chunk of the crop in, but lots to go. Took about 200 acres off on Tuesday with two 8-row machines. Yields are running anywhere from 55 to 65 bushels to the acre. Better fields yet to harvest. Yields have been absolutely phenomenal. Glad I grew all beans this year as corn looked awfull all year in this area. I hear in Quebec the corn is way behind and many people think it will be all high moisture. Corn south and west of me is supposedly going to break records again. I think I will go all beans again next year, since everyone is going to plant more corn and wheat. There ought to be less beans around next year and hopefully the price will reflect that. Price for beans is looking more attractive these days.
