I really think some have missed my point.

I'm not much for no-till especially in our area. My original post was not to start a notill vs full tillage war.

I view disking a field after heavily working it with a DMI ecolo tiger as unnecessary. Especially if it is going back to beans. No ifs ands or buts about it. That extra tillage pass will not economically return anything. One would probably be further ahead if you just moldboard plowed it after the combine.

Also, my post was targeted towards corn and soybean growers. Potato, onion, carrot, etc guys, I know you have to work the ground to harvest.

BTW, we strip till. Works well here.
