Alton, Ia | Part of me says yeah it's dumb, they should no-till, or spring till, or whatever. But the bigger part of me says so what. Why is it okay for a non-farmer to own a boat and put fuel in it all summer long, plus the requisite munchies and beverages, and that's okay? I bet some of them burn more fuel than my neighboring farmers. Yet a farmer, especially it seems our older generation, just likes to go out and till his fields, and that's bad, bad, really bad..... Some guys really consider it relaxing, and enjoy it. As long as thier soil isn't washing onto others fields, or ditches, it's not really my business. | |
