Mid Michigan
There has been a tremendous amount of tillage this year in our part of Michigan. Almost like once one guy did it, the next guy did it too. Lot of disk chisels in corn stalks, wheat that was plowed or chiseled and a lot of wheat stubble disked. I have seen my neighbor pulling a 4 row ripper with his Cat on a lot of no til soybean ground too. I think he may try to plant corn in the strips next year. Some of the fields needed it badly. After watching almost all the fields around here be in no til for many years this year was a big turnaround.
