| illfarmr, Maybe you should be a little less concerned about trying to create a barrier of entry to a young farmer and look around at all the other established farmers trying to rent your land. Maybe you were born 40 with a good strong land base but I am pretty sure you were a young farmer once too. I would like to know how you acquired your land. Just because these young reps are also involved in farming doesn't make them a competitor to your operation. Rather than having a rep that has no idea about farming and what it takes to raise a crop, these reps associated with farming have a good knowledge of the industry. It doesn't sound to me like the dealer reps are out talking to your landlords but somehow you still feel as if you have to hurt their bottom line. It seems like everyone has to walk a fine line these days and people like yourself make that line impossible not to cross. Not doing business with a young rep because he wants to farm is ridiculous. | |
