Subject: Regular Header

Gresham, Nebraska
We're using the regular header which has 4 knife blades per stalk roll, timed such that they come together and practically cut the stalk/trash up into small pieces. The feeder house is a variable speed drive allowing one to adjust the aggressiveness of the stalk chopping. The face of the feeder house is easily adjusted to change the approach angle of the head and this also helps the stalk rolls to cut closer to the ground. Tie that together with the from the operators seat adjustable stripper plates and you can do a tremendous job in the field. This corn field, as pictured, is ready to plant into - we won't shred or till in any way - just plant right into the existing material as you see it in the pictures. Granted, by spring the fluffiness of the trash will be gone. This type of corn head is a very important piece of the puzzle in a no-till operation - keeping it in top working condition saves a lot of time, labor, expense and aggravation during the planting process and success of the next crop.

This reads like an ad for Lexion products - I'm not a dealer - they are just that good. Period.
