Coldwater, Michigan | Tom,
If you were to mix the potassium Thiosulfate with the 10-34-0 first, you would not have any mixing problems with the 28%. If the 10-34-0 and 28% are already mixed, you could use a mixing "Tee" to introduce the 0-0-25-17s (potassium Thiosulfate) as you pumped the prior mix into the planter, nurse tank. Actually would prefer you to mix into a storage or nurse tank. You could mix the 0-0-25-17s pretty heavy without problems of settling out. At 1/3 each in my sample bottle, it will settle out. It never forms anything solid on the bottom, but it does settle. A slight bit of aggitation it will be right back in solution.
Safety of placing it 4 x2 ? No problem. If it is safe enough for the 28% to be there it will be fine. Cost will be a bit more than AMM Tiosulfate, but the nitrogen part can be made up with a bit more "cheap" 28%! Probably trades near even when you consider the Potash element.
10-34-0 in the mix changes a lot of things here. You could not get much more than about 5 to 1 28% to K-Thio without settling out in "warm weather". In cold weather you better have some water in the mix. Never hurts in warm weather either. 10-34-0 just makes it easier.
If you need a price, I can get you one so you will know. By the way, where are you located? Name sounds familiar.
