I think you'd kill a 2-300 lb. holstein calf on it.  They are too fragile at that age and needing a lot more energy and protein if you want them to grow.  A good alfalfa or alfalfa mix would be much better.  If you do feed the sorghum, you'll need to free choice it and make up the energy and protein needs in a concentrate and not expect them to utilize much more than the leaves on the sorghum which will leave a lot of waste which would probably work well as bedding.
