P2O5 = 1.8%, K2O = 5.5%, Mg = 2.2%, Ca = 23.3%, S = 0.4% is one of the book references to wood ash.
Would it be worth while to pull a soil sample from the good crop area and the rest of the field and compare them. This is a window for you to look through to determine the needs of your soil.
I've never heard that Lanark County sold potash.
