North Cental Mo.
I didn't realize superior had changed hands, my neighbor sold a couple hundred head with them last year and got along the best he said. I know the rep for my area, I don't know how much business he brings in for them though. I don't reallly understand what you mean about order buyers backing out on you. I hire an order buyer to buy cattle for me, he is just the go between person. I must say the man I use is extremely good, and if he think's he's bought some off cattle he will go back in the pens and sort them. As far as sale barns, we have some pretty good ones in north mo. and southern Iowa. I know it sucks when the buyers pick your cattle apart in the ring, but as a buyer I have done it. Order buyers have to do it somewhat or they end up with cattle that the actual buyer does not want. Say I got a load of five hundred pound black steers, and one holstein, I'd be pretty upset.
