I dont just put on a 100 ton ac once, I put it on three times. Heres what i do (and most everyone elce that has manure) When a stand of alfalfa is ready to come out we spread the dairy manure then either apply gypsum to the high PH spots. Plow it or rip deep, put corn in two years with manure at 100 tons each time. After three shots of manure over a three year period when we go back to alfalfa you can really see the difference. It isnt cheap to spread, but well worth the cost.
