| Roy if you read my post above, I talked about a couple of loads going to Calf. last week, they were sorted & weighed in a very timely matter, then load on buyers trucks all within 4-5 hours tops. Around 15 hours till unload in Calf. They weighed on the ground there, they had over 10% shrink. It was too much, we could only account for around 8 %. I don't know if hotter weather caused more shrink? Or if some 25 % of the calves were fuller than others? I still maintain the calves weren't too full, and they will pickup all that weight, in less than a week. | |
