Subject: Wheat after wheat or oats?

Northeast Ohio
Thought about no-tilling some wheat into wheat & oat stubble. Has anyone did this and had any success? One local farmer said not to worry because of our location (N.E Ohio) not so much disease pressure. It is very wet here and my oat and wheat stubble fields are tiled and I can get on them sooner than my other ground. Just want to make sure I can cover my wheat contracts next summer. On the other hand, I really hate to take the time and money to drill and fertilize and then have alot of disease problems. Thanks.
