Central, IA | Iowa State University Custom Rates Survey is a good place to start. Just google "Custom machinery rates" and you should get to a pdf file that has all the proposed custom rates for 2008.
Grinding / mixing feed is listed on the ISU page at $5-11.00 per ton with an average of $8.60 per ton.
The list is published every year in the spring, This year it was based off of a diesel average of $2.75 per gallon. So you may want to adjust your rate up accordingly for fuel, travel, ease of getting in and out of the lots.
