I got some nylon jacket style from local place that makes hydraulic hoses. Expensive per ft I thought but seems to be holding up and protection from abrasion. Be sure to heat/melt the ends to keep from fraying just used nylon zip ties to secure to ends of hose at the steel fittings. These turned up in web search. http://www.rocklinhydraulics.com/hoseprotection.html http://www.discounthydraulichose.com/product_p/nps.htm These look like the crimp on clamps (down the page) http://www.mobilehydraulictips.com/safety-in-sight/ Actual protection from bursting hoses is Gates Life Guard Sleeving. http://www.gates.com/products/industrial/industrial-hydraulics/accessories/lifeguard-sleeving
