I got some nylon jacket style from local place that makes hydraulic hoses. Expensive per ft I thought but seems to be holding up and protection from abrasion. Be sure to heat/melt the ends to keep from fraying  just used nylon zip ties to secure to ends of hose at  the steel fittings.
