I always thought grass tetany was caused by wet conditions in the spring, not in the fall. We're overly wet but there isn't much new growth in the pastures besides cheat. I thought that the volunteer oats had been so picked into the ground that they didn't even go out there anymore. How does grass tetany kill a cow?
