Thanks for the update. Looks to be working well for you . Sometime when I get a chance I'll take a pic of the contraption I made to set in the Ranger's bed pocket to unroll the poly tape out as I drove over the corn.....then show you the real life saver of how to roll it back up in 20 seconds ! Its a gas powered Stihl drill with a two prong fork on it...set fork on the poly reel and let'er rip. You just need to have two tapes up .....one you are using and one you are taking down and moving. The cows get real smart when you are taking one down, soon as you unhook it and lay it down they are walking over it hurrying to eat corn ears first.
I agree with the grass, I had a 100' headlands around my standing grazing field also.....fun to watch them....one day they rush for corn..next time they switch and rush for the alf/grass mix first.
