i did the same type of experiment with AC Greenfix into tall favabeans....to see if the greenfix would sprout, and grow and attach itself to the favabean plant....the fava becoming the support plant for the greenfix. i got similiar results, small plants, less growth.......my conclusion....the seeded plant needs more sunlight so it can agressively grow with the main crop plant.
