Ran a 4630 for many years. My grandad had the power turned up on it big time...measured 210 pto power if I remember right. He pulled a 26 ft disk with it back in the 80's and we went through that transmission every year for 4 yrs then every other year after that for another 6 years. Finally got a smaller disk 22 ft for it. His head was like a rock and he would rather spend money fixing crap than admit that the tractor wasn't built for that type of heavy use. Was a good tractor with lots of power even ran it on the grain cart for a while and the cart held over a 1000 bu corn. I did not like that at all, you should have seen the drawbar!!! My grandad (RIP) was always trying to say that his old tractor could run with the big dogs. LOL The trans was the weakest link by far. It was the ABCD trans. Not a powershift.
